What paint correction is

Paint correction is the controlled leveling of your clear coat using precision machine polishers and diminishing abrasives. The goal is to remove swirl marks, light scratches, holograms, oxidation, and water spots — restoring clarity, depth, and gloss.

Auto Pro's three levels

  • Level 1 — Enhancement Polish: single-stage, reduces up to ~70% of light defects, restores gloss. Great for well-maintained paint.
  • Level 2 — Paint Correction: multi-stage machine correction targeting ~80–89% of swirls, water spots, and moderate defects.
  • Level 3 — Signature Correction: maximum ~90–96% refinement for mirror-like clarity.

What it can fix

  • Light swirl marks from washing
  • Light scratches within the clear coat
  • Holograms from improper buffing
  • Oxidation and fading
  • Water spot etching (surface-level)

What it can't fix

  • Deep scratches that penetrate through the clear coat
  • Defects where removing them would require removing too much clear coat
  • Damage beneath the paint layer

Why we inspect first

Correction locks in whatever is underneath. We measure your clear-coat thickness before recommending a level — some defects are unsafe to remove. That's why correction requires an inspection before we quote.
