How long has Auto Pro Detailing been in business?+
Auto Pro Detailing was founded by Jimmy Edouard in 2005 and has been protecting Florida vehicles for more than 20 years.
What is the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?+
Paint protection film is a physical, self-healing barrier that stops rocks and road debris from reaching your paint. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that bonds to your paint for gloss, hydrophobic behavior and easier cleaning. Many owners use both — PPF for impact defense and ceramic for gloss and maintenance.
How long does ceramic coating last?+
Our ceramic coatings range from 2 to 6 years of protection depending on the package. Formula 1051 offers a 10-year limited warranty with annual inspections. Durability depends on maintenance, environment and how the vehicle is cared for.
Does PPF really self-heal?+
Yes. XPEL Ultimate Plus film has an elastomeric top layer that reflows to remove light scratches and swirl marks with heat from the sun or warm water. Deeper damage that penetrates the film should be inspected by a professional.
Is window tint legal in Florida?+
Florida regulates tint darkness by window position and vehicle type. We install to Florida standards and explain what applies to your specific vehicle. Final legal compliance can depend on vehicle type and current state requirements, which we confirm at installation.
Do you offer mobile detailing?+
Yes. Several services are mobile available, including up-to-2-year ceramic, seasonal exterior and exterior express maintenance. Some services are shop-only; we make clear which is which before booking.
How do I get a quote?+

Is paint correction required before coating?+
Not always, but coating locks in whatever is underneath it. If your paint has swirls or oxidation, we recommend correction first so the coating reflects a flawless finish rather than sealing in defects.
Do you work on Teslas and EVs?+
Yes. We have a dedicated EV & Tesla protection program covering PPF, ceramic protection, window tint, windshield protection and paint correction for Tesla, Rivian, Lucid and other premium EVs.
What are your hours?+
We operate Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and we are closed Saturdays and Sundays. Appointments are recommended — call 321-987-6797.
